SEAGOVILLE – Students from Seagoville Middle School’s SOAR Program (Seeking Opportunities, Aspirations, and Results) were able to explore various high school options during a recent Parent and Student Night hosted by the middle school. Parents and students also visited with campus teams from the Academies, Magnet Schools, Choice Schools, and Early College High Schools.

SOAR Program Students Visit DFW Airport
Students from Seagoville Middle School’s SOAR Program (Seeking Opportunities, Aspirations, and Results) participated in a field trip to Dallas/Fort Worth International (DFW) Airport. The students had the opportunity to participate in flight simulators, explore the flying machines, and understand the logistics and general operation of the airport.
The purpose of the SOAR field trip was to expose the students to the various job opportunities offered in the aviation industry.
The middle school SOAR students participated in an awards ceremony in which the they received certificates for attendance, improvement, and academic accomplishment. Students also received awards for their performance on the ACPs, which they took in October.
